People come and people go,
People think but do not know,
Shining bright the deepest night,
Darkness covers the strongest light.

All is lost, therefore forgotten,
In our graveyards, history has rotten.
Life is held, by a shred of rope,
There is no future, there is no hope!

Our fathers deeds, we don't recall,
Our biggest needs, we ignore them all!

The world is doomed, we'll all die,
Will cities burn, will children cry?

And yet we resist,
We try to fight,
For a way to exist!
For love with might!

Man is not doomed,
Man can enhance,
We're still not ruined,
There's still a chance!

O mundo passa por mim,
Vejo-o mas não o sinto,
Procuro razão num poço sem fim,
Mas não encontro, minto,

Uma réstia que sobrava,
Agarrei-a, senti-a na mão,
Vi livre um pássaro que passava,
Vi-o livre mas sem razão.

Serei melhor ou só diferente?
Conhecendo o bem farei o mal?
Será útil ser independente?
Será útil ser meu rival?

O mundo passa por mim,
Vejo-o, sinto-o mas não percebo...
Não a procuro ainda assim,
Não a procuro mas não concedo.
